Realme Band 2 launched, Xiaomi's Mi Band at risk?

Realme had announced the Realme Band last year, but we thought there were plenty of better alternatives on the market at that time. Now, the company has gone back to the drawing board with their designers and just launched the Realme Band 2, and it's different this time.

The biggest upgrade at first glance is the increased screen size, like it's not extremely massive but something is better than nothing, It has gone from the original’s 0.96-inch color LCD panel to a 1.4-inch screen. This upgrade means you’ve got a device that resembles the Huawei Watch Fit and Honor Band 6 more than anything else.

Realme also says you can also expect up to 12 days of endurance compared to 10 days of theoretical battery life with the original band.

Apart from this, let's come to the main features and that is fitness tracking and that is what fitness bands are for, the Realme Band 2 brings blood oxygen and heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking and analysis, water resistance down to 50 meters, and support for tracking up to 90 sports modes. Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.1, smartphone controls (e.g. music, camera), period tracking, and stress measurements.

The Realme Band 2 is available in Malaysia for now and retails for 169 Malaysian Ringgits approximately 3,000 Rs in India.

And for the availability in India, there's no word from Realme India but we expect it to release in India by the end of this year or early next year, hopefully the price for this band will be lesser as Xiaomi's Mi Band is the biggest competition in this range
