Pixel 6 Pro to come with fast charging, making it the fastest charging pixel phone ever

Everyone is eyeing on Google's Pixel 6 and 6 Pro right now, making it the most awaited android phone this year, there were already many reasons to look out for this year's pixel line up such as new updated camera sensors, the new in house Google Tensor Chip, with that swanky new design, and the latest leak just adds on the reasons to buy the Pixel 6 Pro than any of the Samsung's foldable.

A Taiwanese regulatory listing discovered by XDA Developers shows that the Pixel 6 Pro will indeed replace the age-old 18W charging that Google phones have supported since 2016 with faster 33W charging.

The Pixel 6 Pro is rumoured to pack a 5,000mAh battery. If the Pixel 5a is anything to go by, 18W charging would have taken more than two hours to fill up the phone. 33W charging would significantly reduce that time.

It’s unclear whether only the Pixel 6 Pro will get the charging upgrade or if the vanilla Pixel 6 will also support 33W charging. What we do know is that Google won’t ship the phones with a 33W charger in the box. The company claims that people already have USB-C chargers lying around, so there’s no need to offer the accessory, as per the reports of The Verge.

But eventually we all will need to wait and see what Google brings to the table with their new devices, and how it can go head to head with Apples latest iPhone 13 line up.
